Turtle Nesting Tortuguero         $0+tax

The nesting of sea turtles is one of the most impressive spectacles of nature. The Tortuguero National Park, is par excellence the most important site for the nesting of the sea turtle (Chelonia mydas) Known with the common name of Green turtle.

After the meeting with our guide or we will go to the beach, where they will receive an informative talk and we will prepare to go to the beach, then we will wait at the beach to indicate the place and location where a turtle is coming from, for the whole journey along the path our guide will give you details and information of the turtles, these incredible reptiles visit the Caribbean beaches in the months of July to October, the odds are good but not guaranteed, the beach is quite long and is not always in the schedule we are patrolling. (Remember that it is not possible to use a camera).

During September you can see the birth of baby turtles (it has an additional cost).
